Microalloying 2007, organized as a part of year–long celebration of the sesquice-ntenary year of Bengal Engineering and Science University (Formerly, Bengal Engineering College) and diamond jubilee year of the Indian Institute of Metals, provides a forum for technical interaction among the related sectors for a critical review of the development on microalloyed steels and emerging technologies for newer applications and product development to meets the increasing demand of various industries.
The conference proceeding comprise a keynote paper, invited and contributed paper covering the areas of alloy design, processing, deformation and damage, phase transformation, formability and texture, structure-property correlation, deformation, and application of microalloying technology to interstitial free steel, high strength low alloy steel and multiphase steel.
