Aditya Kant is a journalist by calling, storyteller by soul, and educator by destiny. With nearly three decades across India’s leading newsrooms—including Hindustan Times, The Times of India and others—he brings newsroom precision and literary depth to every endeavour. Presently a Professor of Eminence at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, Aditya guides the next generation through the evolving landscape of AI-powered journalism while continuing to explore the human heart through mystery, thrillers, and romance set in the mountains. His first book, High on Kasol, examined drug trails and the disappearances of foreigners in the Parvati Valley and attracted wide attention for its investigative courage and atmospheric storytelling. Before joining academia, his last assignment as a journalist was with The Statesman as Senior Executive Editor.
