Dr Shoma A Chatterji

Dr Shoma A Chatterji, Lifetime Achievement SAMMAN awardee from Rotary Metro City in 2012, is a freelance journalist, film scholar and an author who has been writing for forty years now. She has been on the jury at major film festivals and has presented papers at different conferences around the world. She has also authored 26 books on various themes of Indian Cinema, Gender Studies, Short Story collections and others. Currently, she lives in Kolkata with her husband.

During her 17 years at Lintas, Jayshree Sundar was known for her work with clients like Cadbury, Maruti Suzuki, ICI, Gillette, Parker, Xerox and Ponds. She went on to join Leo Burnett where she was President (North) for five years. A gold medalist from University of Mumbai, and an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, she now teaches marketing courses at business schools all over India.

An alumnus of Delhi Technological University, Sahana Singh made a career shift to writing and editing after moving to Singapore from India. Her articles have been published in The Reader's Digest, Washington Post, Discovery Channel Asia, The Straits Times, Swarajya, IndiaFacts and MyIndMakers. Sahana is on the board of multiple non-profit organisations working in the areas of historical research, traditional Indic knowledge systems, and assistance to Hindu refugees. She has won several awards for journalism including the Developing Asia Journalism Award 2008.
